A new, practice-oriented stage has started in the project on teaching programming and the basics of the Internet Code Secrets, organized by Coordination center for TLD RU/РФ and the Academy of Innovative Education and the Smart Internet Foundation and the Explore the Internet – Govern It project.
It is based on thematic lectures on professional growth and choosing paths in the field of information technology.
On webinars, students and their mentors will have a unique opportunity to meet leading industry experts, hear their success stories, learn more about the specifics of each profession, career development, and learn how to assess the prospects of their chosen specialty. Among the key issues are personal qualities necessary for successful advancement in the IT industry, ways to acquire basic skills and directions for further professional development.
The cycle of career guidance meetings was opened by Alesya Degtyareva, federal coordinator of the CYBER Media Movement. The audience learned the goals and activities of this All-Russian community of children and youth active in the digital space. By this day, it had covered more than 50 Russian regions. The children were told about the importance of self-development, participation in competitions and projects aimed at the formation of digital consciousness and creative abilities.
Next, the course participants will meet with specialists in inclusive development and application development, project managers, designers, digital marketers and others. These events will become an important part of the educational process, helping young students to better understand the world of Internet technologies and choose the best path for their own professional growth.
The Code Secrets project is aimed at developing programming skills, increasing knowledge in the field of digital technologies and popularizing IT professions among young people, especially students from small and rural schools, boarding schools and orphanages.
