The international competition for young illustrators accepts applications until August 10.
The international competition for young illustrators “NEW DREAMS” is to support cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign children, develop the spiritual and creative potential of children from different countries, as well as a platform for children from all over the world to demonstrate their artistic creativity and talent to a global audience.
The theme of the 2021 contest is “LOVE AND HOPE”. Children’s creative associations and individual performers of works under the age of 16 are invited to participate.
Works are carried out on paper in any artistic technique and sent electronically in accordance with the established requirements.
In the Russian-language part of the competition, applications are accepted by the official partner of the organizing committee of the competition – Architecture and Design Studio “FA-SAD”, Moscow, to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org in the following form:
- the name of the creative team / the name of the author (for individual applications);
- contact details for feedback (name, email, phone).
In the subject of the letter, you must indicate “APPLICATION FOR THE COMPETITION NEW DREAMS”. In the return letter, information will be sent with the requirements for the format of the work. Application deadline is August 10, 2021.
The names of the finalists will be announced in October 2021, the winners will be determined in November 2021. An exhibition of the best works within the CCBF will also take place at the same time.
The award ceremony and the selection of winning entries will be presented at the Shanghai World Expo Convention and Exhibition Center as a landmark event of the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair. The winning entries, both from China and overseas, will be combined into a bilingual photo album.
