The Big Media Communication Forum 2017 / BMCF 2017 was held in Moscow on April 25-27 during the “Svyaz” exhibition. It was devoted to the trends of the development of the digital economy, as well as to the current issues of the media and communications industry. One of them, “Domains of Russia”, organized by the Coordination Center for .RU / .РФ. Participants discussed the development of the domain name registration market in Russia and the world; the impact of new top-level domains on this market; technical and technological innovations in the domain business, as well as the prospects for introducing Cyrillic mail for Russian .РФ, .РУC. and .ДЕТИ.

Social projects of the .ДЕТИ domain, aimed at increasing the digital literacy of novice users, were presented at the Fifth Youth Forum of the ADE “Ethical, Cultural and Civilizational Aspects of Work on the Internet”, which was also held within the framework of BMCF 2017.
